Great Run Race, a road running race that has attracted hundreds of athletes from across the country each year. The event, which aims to raise funds for the development of athletes from historically disadvantaged communities, will start and finish at Pilditch stadium and Weskoppies Hospital in Pretoria west.

The race will once again consist of two distances, allowing for athletes from all walkers for life to enter.  Whilst the 15K and 10K races start at 06:00am, a 5K Business of fun run will start at 06:15am. There'll be prize monies to be won. A medal and goodie bags will also be given to each athlete that completes the race.

Great Run is a popular road race which takes place on an annual basis in the city of Pretoria, with many road runners, professional athletes, and those who are just looking for a way to get fit, choosing to attend this event.

The race plays a huge role in social responsibility. It has been staged in different places like Voortrekker monument, of which it ran through Pretoria's most landmark and now Pilditch stadium and Weskoppies Hospital
